I have been exploring forms in nature and their growth for several years, to find algorithmic sequences generative of organic shapes.
Trees, leafs, honeycombs, flowers, snowflakes, waves, shells, starfish and other sea organisms inspire many of the design in the WORLDMAKING collections.
The process starts with the understanding of the geometric rules underlying a natural configuration, which become applied to algorithms to generate a basic diagram. The algorithms are implemented with associative parametric software, to generate a biomorphic digital model where material specifications are assigned to the geometric elements of the diagrams.
